Edward West

EDWARD WEST was a well-known lawyer in Camden. He served as assistant city counselor under E.G.C. Bleakly, was a member of the county Board of Elections, and was active in Masonic and fraternal affairs. A member of the National Guard before America’s entry into World War I, he saw combat at St. Mihiel, the Argonne Forest, and in the defense of Alsace late in the war. He was very active in veterans affairs after the war with the American Legion and other groups.
