Funeral services will be held tomorrow for Charles H. Valentine, 67, for 42 years an engineer on Pennsylvania Railroad ferryboats, who died Saturday after a long illness. Services will take place at the home, 319 North Thirty-eighth street and burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Valentine is survived by his widow, Martha A. Valentine, and three sons. He was a member of Camp No. 25 P. O. S. of A., and Camp No. 51, P. O. of A.

When a bus and automobile collided headon at 9 p. m., Saturday, at Eighth street and Kaighn avenue, George W. Garner, 30, a city fireman, of 410 Rand street, driver of the automobile, suffered a fractured left arm and cuts about the face. The bus was driven by J. S. Harrison, 43, of 311 Northy Thirty-eighth street. Garner was treated at West Jersey Homeopathic Hospital.

Nicholas Donahue, the popular restaurant keeper of Twenty-fourth and Federal streets, has been elected a member of the Board of Trade.
Harry Lake, of 950 North Twenty-seventh street, is still confined to his home, and is reported as seriously ill.
Ezra Wallace, of Thirty-eighth street and Westfield avenue, is confined to his home on account of sickness.
The Third District police yesterday at roll call donned their new winter helmets.
James N. Lloyd, of 2831 Concord avenue, is reported as being in a serious condition from pneumonia. Mr. Lloyd has been confined to his home now about five weeks.

In a fall on the deck of a tugboat, George F. Moore, 27 years old, of 1484 Princess avenue, slipped on a piece of ice, fell and broke his leg. He was taken to Cooper Hospital.
Miss Eveline Pratley, 23 years old, of 221 North Thirty-eighth street, received three mangled fingers in a machine at a plant at Thirty-eighth street and Westfield avenue. She was treated at Cooper Hospital.
With a capital of $100,000, the Jackson Oil Company was incorporated yesterday, the incorporators being Randolph Cooper, William R. Stewart and Norman Nicholson.
Eleanor Miller, 6 years old, of 712 South Eighth street, was taken to Cooper Hospital yesterday with a double fracture of the right arm, the result of a fall downstairs.
