Magnolia Avenue

MAGNOLIA AVENUE runs parallel with Empire Avenue from Walnut Street south to Baird Avenue in Camden’s Parkside section. A few homes had been built in the 1100 and 1200 blocks by 1924; by 1929 the two blocks appear to have been built out.

Talley

Louico of 1112 Magnolia Avenue, Camden, N.J. Age 69. Died January 1, 1975. Survived by two sons, Louis and Henry Talley, two daughters-in-law Isabel Talley and Anna Talley. Many grandchildren, many great-grandchildren. Four sisters, two brothers, hosts of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Friends & relatives are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Carl Miller Funeral Home, 831 Van Hook Street, Camden. Where friends may call after 11 a.m. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Camden, N.J. Friends & relatives will meet at 1251 Everett Street, Camden, N.J.

Robbed During Moving

Maurice Yudenfriend, of the Cherry Hill Apartments, Delaware Township, reported to Camden City Det. Harry Kyler today that he missed a watch valued at $600 and three suits of clothing worth $285 after his belongings were moved. Yudenfriend reported he moved from 1124 Magnolia ave. to the Cherry Hill address on Dec. 13 and missed the possessions at his new home.

Held up and robbed of $180, Gustave Gold, of 1141 Magnolia avenue, was forced to drive off in his automobile last night by the armed bandit who escaped with a companion in another car.
