—Mrs. J. C. Blackwood, of Stevens street, is at home again after a five weeks’ visit with her daughter, Mrs. J. D. Hagenbuch, at Bethlehem, Pa., whose husband is in Europe in the interest of the Bethlehem Steel Works.

—Hazel Baker, aged 4 years, of 1100 Marion street, celebrated the fourth anniversary of her birth Saturday. The little one was all smiles this morning, for the mail man brought her seventy pretty post cards from relatives and friends.

—The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Mills, of 1904 Broadway, was christened at her parents’ home yesterday afternoon by Rev. C. S. Miller, pastor of Trinity M. E. Church.

A woman running at her utmost speed and half overcome by exertion startled pedestrians in the vicinity of Marion and Chestnut streets, Camden, when they discovered she was being followed by a man. The latter was about to grasp her when the woman rushed into No. 2 patrol house. There she said she was Mrs. Marion Lippincott, of 1103 Marion street, and declared the man, her husband, was chasing her with the expressed determination of killing her. At her instance the man was arrested.

Surviving are a brother, Joseph, and a sister, Mrs. Josephine Harris, both of Camden.

Services will be Sunday at 8 p.m. from the Carl Miller Funeral Home, 831 Van Hook Street, where friends may call after 6 o’clock. Burial will be in Mt. Peace Cemetery, Lawnside.
