DR. BENJAMIN M. WROBLEWSKI was born in Shenandoah PA on September 5, 1892.
When he registered for the draft on June 5, 1917 in Philadelphia PA, Benjamin M. Wroblewski was a graduate student at Temple University. He was then single and living at 142 South 11th Street in Philadelphia PA.
By 1924 Dr. Benjamin Wroblewski had married and come to Camden NJ. The 1924 City Directory shows that he had moved to and set up a medical practice at 1190 Atlantic Avenue. By 1929 Dr. Benjamin and Doris Wroblewski had moved to 1166 Thurman Street. Dr. Wroblewski also practiced medicine at that address. The 1930 Census shows that there was a daughter, Gloria, then seven years old.
Dr. Benjamin Wroblewski lived and practiced medicine at 1166 Thurman Street in Camden through the early 1970s. By 1973 he had sold the building and moved from the city.
Dr. Wroblewski was a member of the Camden County Medical Society. He was an active member of St. Joseph’s Church at South 10th and Mechanic Streets for many years.
Last a resident of Moorestown NJ, Dr. Wroblewski died in December of 1979. His wife later moved to Ventnor NJ. She passed December 25, 1989.

SOUTH CAMDEN BOY IS STRUCK BY AUTO

A South Camden boy is in West Jersey Homeopathic Hospital suffering from injuries to the head, face and legs caused when he was struck yesterday by the car of Dr. Benjamin Wroblewski, of 1166 Thurman Street.
The injured child is Raymond Hozalski, 8, of 1160 Jackson Street. Hospital records reveal that the child was attempting to cross the roadway at Tenth and Thurman streets when struck. The driver of the car took the boy to the hospital and reported the accident to police.

MOORESTOWN — A Mass of Christian Burial for Dr. Benjamin Michael Wroblewski of Moorestown, who practiced medicine in Camden for 55 years, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Rose of Lima Church, Haddon Heights.
Dr. Wroblewski, 86, died Thursday in West Jersey Hospital in Camden. During his long medical career, he delivered more than 2,000 babies at that hospital.
He was a member of the Camden County Medical Society and the New Jersey Medical Association and was honored by that organization in 1974 for 50 years of service. He is also an emeritus member of West Jersey Hospital.
A veteran of World War I, Dr. Wroblewski was a medical examiner for the draft board during World War II and was medical examiner for Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. and Monsanto Chemical Co. for more than 30 years. He also served as examiner for Woodman of the World and St. Joseph school in Camden. He also was a member of the Copernicus Society, a society for professional businessmen.
Surviving are his wife, Doris S. Jasienski Wroblewski; two daughters, Mrs. Leon T. Banasz of Oaklyn, and Mrs. Marden F. Elwell of Florida; two sisters, Jean Gladowski of Bristol, Conn., and Adele Johnson of New York; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Viewing will be private. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill.
