Introduction
Jackson Court consists of 12 houses in the Sheridan Apartments, running south from Jackson Street towards Sheridan, between South 9th and South 10th Streets. The front doors of these homes are not on a street. The apartments were built during the 1950s.

Erastus J. Mincy, 60, of 928 Jackson ct., died Monday in Cooper Hospital. He was born in Pulaski, Ga., and lived in Camden 23 years.
Surviving are his wife, Noma; a son, Ernest, a daughter, Mrs. Juanita Williams, of Newark; a brother Houston, of Camden; seven grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
Services will be held Saturday at 1 p. m. in a funeral home, 831 Van Hook st., where friends may call Friday after 7 p. m. Burial will be in Mt. Peace Cemetery, Lawnside.
