John Pabst

John Pabst worked for the Camden Fire Department as a maintenance repairman for over 20 years. He retired on pension on October 1, 1983 at age 81. His home was at 332 North 41st Street in East Camden. He was the son of Henry and Elizabeth Pabst and was born and grew up in Newark, New Jersey. He was not in Camden directories in the 1940s or phone books from 1956 or 1959, but was living in Camden when appointed to the Fire Department on July 23, 1963. He was last of Pennsauken, New Jersey, where he died on July 18, 1989.
