George T. Small, Superintendent of Parks

George T. Small was born in New Jersey around 1886. He married Ella around 1910. During the 1910s, he worked as a ferry collector. In 1920, the Small family lived at 1211 Kenwood Avenue in Camden.

By 1930, the family had moved to 1445 Kaighn Avenue in the Parkside neighborhood. George and Ella had three children.

George T. Small served as Superintendent of Parks for the City of Camden under Mayor Winfield S. Price in the early 1930s.

George T. Small passed away before 1936. His wife Ella died in October 1966.
