Frank W. Peters

FRANK W. PETERS was born in New Jersey in 1903. His mother married Louis Siebenlist sometime after the 1910 Census. Frank Peters appears in the 1920 Census with his mother Lena and step-father Louis L. Siebenlist. The family was then living at 122 Cedar Avenue in Woodlynne. By the end of 1923 they had moved to 721 Mount Vernon Street in South Camden. The 1924 City Directory shows Frank Peters working as an electrician, the 1927 Directory has him as a laborer. The 1929 edition gives his occupation as driver. It appears that at some point in 1929 Frank W. Peters was appointed to the Camden Fire Department.

The April 1930 Census shows that Frank W. Peters and his bride of 3 months, Katherine, were living with the Siebenlists at 721 Mount Vernon Street in South Camden.

Lena Siebenleben passed away on April 19, 1938 and was buried at New Camden Cemetery. Louis Siebenlist, last a resident of 721 Mount Vernon Street, joined her on July 31, 1942.

Franklin W. Peters appears in Camden Fire Department records from 1931 as living at 1275 Decatur Street. The 1940 City Directory shows him living with wife Katherine at 1248 Sayrs Avenue. Neither are listed in the 1943 or 1947 Directories, or in later New Jersey Bell Telephone Directories.
