AVIATION CADET CHARLES O.
ARMSTRONG was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Armstrong. His father
worked as a mortgage loan appraiser. He grew up in a house his parents
owned at 253 Mountwell Avenue in Haddonfield NJ. He lived around the
corner from James F. Baker,
the son of a real estate broker, and around the corner from
James
Baxter, a lawyer's son. All three would give their lives in the
nation's service.
Charles
O. Armstrong died while training for flight duty in the Army Air Force
during World War II at the age of 20. He was survived by his parents.
