Introduction

Private First Class Robert Hinchman Fox was born on June 20, 1925. He was reported missing in action in the December 21, 1944, edition of the Camden Courier-Post while serving overseas as a member of the United States Marine Corps. Records indicate that he died on January 22, 1946. He was initially buried at United States Air Force Cemetery No. 2 in Manila, Philippine Islands. In October of 1951 he was returned to the United States and buried at Beverly National Cemetery in Beverly, New Jersey, on October 16, 1951.

Robert H. Fox is memorialized on the Delaware Township War Memorial. He was survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert E. Fox, of Oak Avenue in what is now Cherry Hill NJ.
