Corporal Robert G. Toperzer, Serial: 32486589, 120th Infantry Regiment, 30th Infantry Division, U.S. Army. Awards: Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster. He lived at 2364 South 8th Street, Camden NJ. Buried at Plot F395 Grave 3, New Camden Cemetery, Camden NJ.

Corporal Robert G. Toperzer was born on April 15, 1921 to Albert and Martha Toperzer. The Toperzers lived at 2364 South 8th Street in Camden NJ. He was a 1938 graduate of Camden High School and had worked for a Camden floor covering company before entering the Army.

Robert Toperzer was inducted into the United States Army in January of 1942. He was sent overseas in June of 1944. He was wounded in action in France on July 11, 1944. Returning to combat, he was killed in action in Germany in February of 1945.

Robert Toperzer was brought home after the war. He was buried at New Camden Cemetery in Camden NJ on January 22, 1949, where he now rests beside his parents.
