Martin J. Lowther

Introduction

Martin James Lowther came to Camden sometime after 1947. The 1956 phone directory shows his residence at 1574 Minnesota Road in Fairview. He was still there when appointed to the city’s police and fire communications department on June 1, 1963 as a signal system operator. He reported for duty on June 3, 1963. His last day of work was March 3, 1968. He died at West Jersey Hospital on April 12, 1968.
