Private First Class Louis A. Keane was born on June 20, 1914. He had ties to Audubon and Pennsauken, NJ. He was killed in action on March 18, 1945. Louis Keane was survived by his wife Agnes.
Mrs. Agnes Keane became a charter member of the Camden County Chapter of the Gold Star Wives of World War II in November of 1947.

WHEN the Camden County Chapter of Gold Star Wives of War II organized Monday night, these charter members attended. Seated from left to right are Mrs. Caroline Simons, Mt. Mrs. Kurdziel, organizer of the group, was named temporary president of the local chapter in the area. Agnes Keane (standing, fifth from left) is identified as Mrs. Agnes Kranz.
