Introduction
Private Laurent F. Choimer III, 20, of Ridge Avenue, Glendora NJ, was killed in action while serving with the 134th Infantry Regiment on October 7, 1944, during combat in the Forêt de Gremercy. A champion swimmer while a student at the Camden County Vocational School, he had been employed as a draftsman at the B.F. Sturtevant Company in Camden, prior to being called up in May of 1943. He is believed to have shipped overseas in May 1944.
