Biography

Motor Machinists Mate Third Class Kenneth Jennings Netherby was born in Gloucester County, NJ in 1919 to Frank and Mabel Netherby, who had moved from Pennsylvania in the early 1910s. The family lived in Woolwich Township at the time of the 1920 census, and had moved to nearby Swedesboro by April of 1930.

Kenneth Netherby married Kathryn Ramsey. During World War II he joined the United States Navy. He died of causes not related to combat while serving with the United States Navy, survived by his wife, of 936 North 19th Street in the Cramer Hill section of Camden, NJ.
