Just Like Lindy Flew To Paris
Camden Courier-Post —
Replica of Lindy’s Plane Built by Camden Boy, 12
When Kenneth Endt, 12 years old, 1667 Morton street, grows up he probably will be an aviator or a builder of airplanes.
Kenneth—who is a student in the Bonsall Public School, Mt. Ephraim avenue and Lowell street, has completed a replica of Lindbergh’s famous Spirit of St Louis. Kenneth has sailed his model Pride of Camden. The plane is on exhibition at his home and is a red longingly by all his boy friends.
The model is two feet long. Kenneth built it in manual training classes in school. It took him four weeks to build the little model.
“I want to be a aviator or a Lindbergh when I grow up,” Kenneth said today, “and I want to make big airplanes. I’ll bet some of this airplane was the coolest, it would fly. Some day I’m going to fly across the Atlantic and maybe I’ll take off from the North Pole. When I go I will take this little model airplane with me.”
