Joseph L. Jagodzinski

Joseph L. Jagodzinski was born in New Jersey on November 19, 1896. He was one of at least seven children of Anthony and Konstantya Jagodzinski. By 1910, the family had settled at 1050 Liberty Street in Camden, near St. Joseph Catholic Church. His father worked as a locomotive blacksmith and passed away by January 1920.

At the time of the 1920 census, Joseph was working as a machinist and living with his mother and brothers Charles and Stanley at 1050 Liberty Street.

Joseph secured an appointment to the Camden Police force in the 1920s. At the time of the 1930 census, he resided at 1139 Whitman Avenue with his wife Carrie and daughter Constance. The family remained at that address through the late 1940s. By 1947, Joseph had been promoted to detective.

Joseph L. Jagodzinski was last a resident of Somerdale, New Jersey. He passed away in August 1980.
