Joseph E. “Joe” Cunningham served with distinction as a member of the Camden Fire Department for 34 years, as a member of Rescue Company 1 and as Captain of Squad Company 7. He retired on December 31, 2010.

Retirement

Captain Joe Cunningham retirement photo — I’m presently at Squad Company 7 with Captain Joe Cunningham having coffee. After 34 years working sevens and Rescue Company 1 Cunningham is officially retired from the CFD at 19:00 hours. It was truly an honor and a privilege to work with such an outstanding firefighter and human. God Bless you old man.
