Staff Sergeant James Stinsman of 500 Salem Avenue, Gloucester City, New Jersey, served as a right waist-gunner aboard the B-17F bomber “Ron-Chee” in the 535th Bomb Squadron, 381st Bomb Group. He was killed in action on October 8, 1943.
He was the son of Harry Stinsman of Gloucester City. Also surviving was a brother then serving overseas.
