Harleigh Cemetery, Camden, NJ

Private Howard P. Anderson was born in Maryland on February 21, 1917. By 1930 his father had passed away, and he was living with his mother Kathryn W. Anderson at 310 West Powell Street in Millville NJ. He was inducted into the Army from Cumberland County NJ in 1943, and went overseas as a member of the 121st Infantry Regiment, 8th Infantry Division. He died of wounds received in combat on October 15, 1944.

After the war, Howard Anderson was brought home. He was buried at Harleigh Cemetery in Camden NJ.
