Biography
Private First Class Harry H. Hoff was born on February 17, 1917. A graduate of Haddon Heights High School, he lived at 202 Station Avenue in Haddon Heights, New Jersey. Harry Hoff worked for a laundry supply company. He was inducted into the Army in the spring of 1942 and went overseas in April of 1944.
Harry Hoff died of wounds received the previous day in action near Aachen, Germany, on October 9, 1944. He was survived by his mother, Mrs. Ruth Hoff, of the Station Avenue address, his father having passed shortly before he entered the Army, and a sister, also named Ruth.
