Corporal George J. Brouillard was born on May 24, 1929 to Felix Joseph and Florence Brouillard. The Brouillard family lived at 2318 Federal Street in Camden, NJ. George Brouillard enlisted in the United States Army on his seventeenth birthday. After basic training, he was sent to the Philippine Islands.
Corporal George Brouillard died in the Philippines as a result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident on January 20, 1948. He was survived by his parents; sisters Myra and Florence; and brother Richard Brouillard. He was buried at Beverly National Cemetery in Beverly, NJ — Plot F O 1487.

Word of the death in the Philippine Islands of Cpl. George J. Bruillard, 18, of 2318 Federal street, was received here today by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Felix J. Bruillard.
Adjutant Gen. Edward F. Weitsel notified the Bruillards their son died as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident.
Bruillard enlisted in the army on his seventeenth birthday, May 24, 1946. He left for the Philippines in August, 1946.
Besides his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Myra and Florence, and a brother, Richard.
