Biography
Staff Sergeant Frank J. McManus, 20, of 15 Central Avenue, Audubon, New Jersey, was killed in action while serving in Luxembourg. Born in 1924, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank B. McManus, he had attended Audubon High School and was working as a truck driver for the Coca-Cola Company in Camden when he was inducted into the Army in May of 1944. He went overseas in October of that year.
Staff Sergeant McManus was survived by his parents and his brother, Bernard McManus, who was also serving in the Army.
