Introduction
Dominick F. Dalanni
Dominick F. Dalanni was born in Camden, New Jersey on April 16, 1925 to John and Marie Dalanni. His parents were living at 420 Stevens Street when the 1924 City Directory was compiled. The Dalannis lived at 503 South 4th Street in 1927. The 1929 Camden City Directory shows the family at 327 Berkley Street, and the 1940 edition shows them at 218 South 5th Street. By the spring of 1942 John Dalanni had moved his family to 419 South 4th Street, where they stayed into the 1960s.
After serving with the United States Marine Corps during World War II, Dominic Dalanni returned home to Camden. He married Mary Fortune, daughter of Camden Police Department detective Augustine Fortune. By 1956 they were living at 1173 Lansdowne Avenue.
Dominick Dalanni was appointed to the Camden Fire Department on December 30, 1950. He served with Engine Company 3 at 1813 Broadway. He resigned from the Fire Department on June 7, 1959. Last a resident of Willingboro, New Jersey, Dominic Dalanni passed away on May 29, 2001 and was buried at Beverly National Cemetery.
United States Marine Corps
Named: Private First Class Dominick F. Dalanni, United States Marine Corps, and Shoulder patch is for 3rd Amphibious Corps.
The 3rd Amphibious Corps fought in some of the bloodiest battles, including the Mariana and Palau Islands campaign and Okinawa. Following the termination of hostilities, it occupied northern China, where it was deactivated on 10 June 1946.

(nee Fortune), three sons John, Dominick and Marc Dalanni, one daughter Donna Hildreth, five grandchildren Bryan Hildreth, Dominique, Jessica, Marc Anthony and Garrison Dalanni, three sisters Anna Gellura, Helen Mahon and Rose Dalanni-Hall, other relatives and dear friends.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, 10AM, at the Corpus Christi R.C. Church, Sunset and Charleston Rds, Willingboro, NJ. Relatives and friends please gather Wednesday directly at the Church. Interment of cremains will follow at the Beverly National Cemetery, Beverly, NJ. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Compassionate Care Hospice, 58 Mill St., Mt. Holly, NJ 08060 in his memory. Funeral arrangements by the Goes-Scolieri Funeral Home, 212 Levitt Pkwy., Willingboro, NJ.
