Introduction
Dale Yoder was born March 18, 1921, in New Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II, and was killed on November 26, 1943, in the Mediterranean when the troop transport he was aboard, the HMT Rohna, was sunk by a German HS-293 glider bomb dropped from a Heinkel He 177 bomber. The HMT Rohna set sail from Oran, Algeria, en route to Bombay, India, on November 25, 1943, and sank on November 26, 1943.
