Introduction
Charles S. Zeigler was born in Carlisle PA around 1856. He came to Camden in the late 1890s, and married around 1905. By 1910 Charles Zeigler was president of the Park Moving & Storage Company, one of Camden’s largest movers. He was an active member of Bethany M.E. Church. By that year the Zeiglers owned a home at 620 Pine Street; he would reside there for the rest of his life.
After a two year illness, Charles S. Zeigler passed away on February 8, 1933 at the age of 57. His firm survived him by many years, passing from the scene in the 1970s.

SIX HURT BY FALLING WALLS
Caught Under a Shower of Bricks and Taken to Hospital
Six workmen were hurt by falling walls at Park's storage warehouse, Haddon avenue, near Pine street, Camden, yesterday. The walls were weakened by the severe storm of the night before, and the contractor ordered the men to pull them down. They were at work on the third story when the walls collapsed, and all were precipitated to the ground floor.
Those injured were Austin Foster, 22 years, 1100 Pine street; Lee Sears, 39 years, 602 Cherry street; William Chambers, 22 years, 919 South Ninth street; Thomas Sherman, 28 years, 1119 Pine street; George Beach, 1062 Pine street; Thomas Melton, 1100 Pine street.
Sergeant of Police Hyde, who lives nearby, sent in an emergency call, and the men were sent to Cooper Hospital. After examinations it was found that with the exception of slight cuts and bruises all escaped serious injury. After their wounds were dressed all were sent home.

Charles S. Zeigler, 57, president of the Park Storage Company, Haddon Avenue and Pine Street, died yesterday at his home, 620 Pine Street, after an illness of two years. Mr. Zeigler was well known as a Methodist layman and was one of the oldest members of the Bethany M.E. Church. He was treasurer of the church and superintendent of the Sunday school, serving in the former capacity for 20 years and as superintendent for more than 15 years.
He was a native of Carlisle, Pa., and a resident of Camden for 34 years. He is survived by the widow, Laura; two sons, Thomas C., of Woodlynne, and Joseph R., and a daughter, Miss Anna A. Ziegler. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at the Bethany M.E. Church, Tenth and Cooper Streets, with Rev. John Norberry officiating. Burial will be in Harleigh Cemetery.
