Alfred P. Checetto

Alfred P. “Butch” Checetto was born in Camden on February 25, 1941 to Philip and Violet Checetto. His father was a tailor by trade. The family lived at 517 Pfeiffer Street in East Camden when the 1947 Camden City Directory was compiled, before moving to Vineland NJ.

Alfred P. Checetto was appointed to the Camden Fire Department on June 12, 1970. He was living at 562 Pfeiffer Street at the time and was married. He later moved to Delaware. Alfred P. Checetto retired on a disability pension on February 1, 1983. When he passed away on January 28, 1993, Alfred Checetto was living at 1311-B Collings Avenue in West Collingswood NJ.

Alfred P. Checetto was survived by his wife Nancy, father Philip, brother John, and a sister, Diane.
