Biography
Private Alford T. Moore Jr. lived at 313 Tenth Avenue in Haddon Heights, New Jersey before entering the Army. He served with the 47th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division, and was killed in action on January 2, 1945, during the Battle of the Bulge. His death was reported in the April 2, 1945 edition of the Camden Courier-Post. He is buried at Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery in Henri-Chapelle, Belgium. He was honored by his brother-in-law, Mr. Thomas A. Burns.
