In 1934 Alexander Chambers was living at 1404 Broadway in South Camden. Involved in Republican politics, he ran for the nomination to run for Camden County Freeholder from the Sixth Ward on a ticket allied with David Baird Jr.
Alexander Chambers passed away in January of 1964. His last residence was in New Jersey.
