Victor Talking Machine Company
I’ve always been interested in postcards. Here are some Camden postcards, some dating back to the 19th Century. If you have any images to share, please contact me.

The Camden factories of the Victor Talking Machine Company—the largest plant in the world devoted to the manufacture of a musical instrument.
Thirty separate buildings, covering space equivalent to ten city blocks.
The Company also maintains recording and record manufacturing plants at Oakland, Cal., Buenos Aires, Argentine Republic, and a recording laboratory in New York City.
With its affiliated Companies, the Victor Talking Machine Company of Canada and the Gramophone Company of England, “His Master’s Voice” products are supplied to every country in the world.
Victor dealers in this country alone can supply Victor records in more than forty different languages and dialects.
Show Rooms and a concert auditorium at 1731 Boardwalk, Atlantic City, are open to the public during the week for splendid free concerts by famous Victor artists. Sales are not solicited.
The Camden plant has now been opened to visitors. When you are in the vicinity of Camden or Philadelphia, you are cordially invited to view the interesting operations incidental to the production of Victor Records and new Orthophonic Victrolas, and, most important of all, to hear the amazing new Orthophonic Victrola and all the wonderful Victor instruments under ideal conditions. This is a musical experience you will never forget.
