Fire Department: The Fires of the Summer of 2011. On this and other
pages in the series you will find pictures and information regarding
different events and aspects of the fire service in Camden, New Jersey. February
22, 2013 was the last shift for Camden firefighter Andres Nieves, who
was retiring. He want out with a bang, as there were three working fires
that day. I had prior commitments and was not in town to photograph any
of them, but I made it a point to get down to Fire headquarters and take
some pictures. Good Luck Andres… enjoy retirement, you earned
it! .
