Camden
Fire Department |
This page and the other pages in this series are the successors to the series of web-page about the Camden Fire Department that began with the page Camden Fire Department: The Fires of the Summer of 2011. On this and other pages in the series you will find pictures and information regarding different events and aspects of the fire service in Camden, New Jersey. At approximately 1:PM on March 23, 2012 a call came in concerning a fire at 1551 Warsaw Street, an abandoned property on the corner of Warsaw and Morton Street in Camden's Whitman Park neighborhood. I was at Engine 10 when the call came in and rode to the scen with them. It turned out to be a small affair that was extinguished quite quickly. This property is one of many vacants in the immediate vicinity, and the Camden Fire Department will be back to this intersection agin, and in all probability soon. All photos here are presented in the order in which they were taken. My first photograph was shot at 1:10 PM. The last picture presented here was taken at 1:23 PM. There are two short vidio clips in the Quicktime MOV format that you can download. As with the web page covering other Camden Fire Department events, if you can identify anyone that I've missed, please e-mail me. (I'm terrible at at names and faces). Phil
