This
page and the other pages in this series are the successors to the series
of web-page about the Camden Fire Department called
Camden
Fire Department: The Fires of the Summer of 2011. On this and other
pages in the series you will find pictures and information regarding
different events and aspects of the fire service in Camden, New
Jersey. On
the morning of November 23, 2011 I stopped in to to say hello at the
firehouse at 27th Street and Federal Street in East Camden, and took a
few photos. One call came through while I was there, concerning the
smell of gasoline in the area of Raritan Street between Somerset and
Thorndyke Streets. It turned out that a citizen wa making a repair to
the gas tank of his car, and had properly removed and stored the
gasoline drained from the tank… good news!!!! .
As
with the web page covering other Camden Fire Department events, if you can
