Camden Fire Department — South Jersey Exposition Company

The South Jersey Exposition Company, which was also known as Engine Company 12, was organized on July 5, 1926 and entered service on that date in temporary quarters erected at the Civic Center, east of Haddon Avenue between Federal and Line Streets. The Exposition was held in conjunction with the Sesquicentennial Exposition marking the 150th Anniversary of the United States which was being held at Fairmount Park in Philadelphia.

South Jersey Exposition Company entered service as a one-piece, second section engine company, using apparatus temporarily detached from Engine Company 8. When the Exposition closed on September 9, 1926, the South Jersey Exposition Company was disbanded, and its apparatus returned to Engine Company 8.
