Camden Fire Department — October 27, 2011 — 2937 Thompson Street

October 27, 2011 — 2937 Thompson Street

This page and the other pages in this series are the successors to the series of web-page about the Camden Fire Department called Camden Fire Department: The Fires of the Summer of 2011. On this and other pages in the series you will find pictures and information regarding different events and aspects of the fire service in Camden, New Jersey.

At 4:08 AM on October 27, 2011 a vacant two-story house at 2937 Thompson Street in East Camden was reported to be on fire. This building had long been abandoned and had been on fire in 2010.

Fire dispatcher Matt DeGailler gave the following account of the incident:

Many thanks to Ted Aurig, who was the only photographer on scene and has made some pictures available. I took four pictures of the building at 1:15 PM.

As with the web page covering other Camden Fire Department events, if you can identify anyone that I've missed, please comment at the bottom of the page. (I'm terrible at names and faces).
