ALBERT CLAYTON GEORGE joined the Camden Police Department in December of 1962. He remained on the force for 35 years, finally retiring in 1997. During his time on the force he spent many years in the Patrol Division, and later served as a training officer. Al George remained a Camden resident throughout his career in law enforcement, and remained in the city after retirement until his passing on November 4, 2004. He was survived by his wife, the former Norma I. Martinez, son Kevin George, two grandsons, and his 13 loving in laws, the Martinez Family. |
He was one of the best… by choice staying in patrol for probably more than thirty years. He was a training officer and trained Lt. Nicole Martin who turned out to be a fine officer. He was happy on the street and well like by all. Raymond
