PRIVATE KENNETH L. STECK of 214 North 5th Street, Camden, New Jersey was the son of Reverend and Mrs. A. R. Steck. He enlisted in the Camden Engineers and became a member of Company B, 104th Engineers at Camp McClellan, Anniston AL when his unit was sent there for training.

Kenneth Steck died of pneumonia at Camp McClellan, Anniston in April of 1918. He was 24 years old at the time of his death. Kenneth Steck was survived by his father, Rev. A. R. Steck, of Carlisle PA.
