PRIVATE CHRISTOPHER M. ROSSELL was born in Camden, New Jersey in 1898. He enlisted in the New Jersey National Guard at Camden on June 12, 1917. He was assigned to Battery B, 1st Regiment Field Artillery, which was later reorganized as Battery B, 110th Field Artillery Regiment, and on September 12, 1927 as Battery B, 110th Field Artillery Regiment.

On July 24, 1917 Christopher Rossell and his 17-year old sweetheart Beatrice were married. They both had been living in the 1200 block of Locust Street, Beatrice at 1240 and Christopher at 1228.

Private Rossell committed suicide by drowning on September 27, 1917. He was survived by his wife, who was then living at 242 Kaighn Avenue.
