Ronald Joseph Bates

CORPORAL RONALD JOSEPH BATES was born on November 4th, 1949. He made his home in Gloucester City NJ, and attended Gloucester High School. As a member of the Unites States Marine Corps, Corporal Bates' MOS was 2531, he served as a field radio operator. 

Corporal Bates served our country for one year, arriving in Vietnam on September 19, 1968. On July 31st, 1969 he was killed in an accident in Quang Tri province, South Vietnam. He was 19 years old and was single.

Corporal Bates was brought home to the Untied States for burial.
