Line of Duty Death

Robert Huster (Bobby) was my cousin. He died when I was young but I remember the sadness of the news and also how proud his family was of his heroic service to the United States Army as a Specialist 4. He served in L Troop in the 11th Armored Cavalry, 3rd squad. His military occupation was an Armor Intelligence Specialist. He was killed in action from multiple fragmentation wounds while serving in Binh Long, South Vietnam. The City of West Berlin named a school after him in his honor and it is still in use as an administrative building..

Bobby, I think of you often, you have a son born in April 67, the month you were killed, a good looking boy, who has done well in life.
