Author Abraham Charles Corotis was well-known for many years as a reporter, public relations man, and publisher in Camden and South Jersey. After working as a reporter for over twenty years he got into public relations work and in time acquired the Argus, a weekly newspaper that had served Camden for several decades. Unfortunately, he ran afoul of State Senator Joseph Cowgill and in 1957 lost a libel suit and the Argus ceased publication.

For many years the author of a column called It's All In The Game , in 1955 Mr. Corotis published a book of the same name with a collection of articles gleaned from his columns. He followed this up in 1957 with a similar book titled A Thousand Eyes . In 1959 Mr. Corotis published a novel, B. Bull, Bastard which was based on his confrontation with Senator Cowgill and the loss of his business dur to undue political influence in the judicial system.

Corotis writes about many well-known people in Camden and New Jersey in It's All In The Game , including realtor Leon Todd, boxers Sergeant Ray Smith and Jersey Joe Walcott, and journalist Dan McConnell among others. His writing is entertaining and he provides interesting insight into people, places, and things long gone from 21st Century America.
