NORTH STREET is a small street in North Camden, that ran From Beach Street to Front Street, between York and Erie Streets, just west of Point Street. It now runs from Delaware Avenue to Front Street. In 1947 there were thirteen houses on the north side, and one on the south side of the street. Today only three houses stand, numbers 39, 41, and 43 North Street. |

51 North Street 1947-1978 The attached picture is of my grandfather Robert Richard Rowan Sr., the son of Madeline H. Rittenhouse, with his co-worker and friend Penny at 6th and Mt. Vernon. Robert Rowan was born August 2nd 1913 and died April 21st 1978. He lived at 51 North Street, around the corner from the John Rittenhouse store at 941 Point Street. Richard

The next he standing in the back yard with a pool cue his bother brought back for him from Korea. The last photo is 1957 going into the Marines. Richard
