COHN
ALLEY is named after Edward N.
Cohn, one of the more important figures
in real estate and construction in Camden during the 1880s and 1890s.
The alley runs east from Haddon Avenue, between Kaighn and Liberty
Streets. Before the city got around to putting a street sign back up in
the late 1990s, the alley was known pretty much as "the alley next
to the Krazy Discount store". As far as I can tell, there never
were any addresses on Cohn Alley. Cohn Alley does not appear in either
Mapquest or Microsoft's Expedia mapping service. However, picture's in
this case don't lie. See for yourself!
