ADA STREET runs from Cherry Street south to Walnut Street, 1 block east of South 9th street. There were no houses on Ada Street in the 1947 City Directory. '

Ada Street street does not appear in City Directories prior to 1890-1891, and does not appear in the 1924 City Directory. While there were houses on the 900 Block of Cherry Street as early as 1887, I believe it is probable that Ada Street dated from the late 1890s or early 1900s, a time when other short streets in the vicinity were laid out.

By the early 1970s Ada Street was gone, obliterated when Interstate Highway I-676 was built through the heart of Camden.
