The Elm Theatre was located at 510 Elm Street in North Camden. It was not listed in the 1914 Camden City Directory, however, by the summer of 1916 was in operation. The Elm was still in business as late as 1947, but its doors were closed by the fall of 1956.

Probably the smallest movie house in Camden by the 1920s, the Elm specialized in low-budget and sensational films, such as Reefer Madness, Souls in Pawn, and what was then quite racy for its time, Nudism in Bali.
