N. Fuhrman Co.
Founded by Nathan Fuhrman in 1904, the Fuhrman family operated their furniture store at 933–35–37 Broadway in Camden NJ over five decades. The family settled in Parkside, and family members were involved in civic affairs and local politics at one time or another. During World War II, one of the family, Private First Class Charles J. Fuhrman, was killed in action while serving in Belgium on January 15, 1945. Another relation, Clarence Fuhrman, moved to Haddonfield NJ and was a noted local bandleader.
