TMT Lounge

Joseph Cuffari operated the bar at 941 South 4th Street for many years. Joseph Cuffari was born in Italy around 1886, and came to America in 1913 with his wife Anna. By 1930 the Cuffari family owned a home at 310 Beckett Street. Joseph Cuffari was then working as a hat finisher. By that time there were three children, a daughter and two sons. By June of 1939, Joseph Cuffari had gone into the bar business.

The bar remained open as the Florentine Grill through the early 1980s. By 1990 the establishment was known as the TMT Lounge. It had closed by the late 1990s.
